It's Time To Fly Away
Chocks away, engines on, it's time to fly...
The National Aviation Academy annual outback fly away is in less than three sleeps and it's safe to say our crew couldn't be more excited. On Friday 21st July, seventeen staff and students will navigate six aircraft from the NAA fleet across outback Queensland. Allowing our students to not only gain hours and advance their navigation skills but also explore the wonderful corner of Australia that we live and learn in. After all, aviation is all about adventure and our annual fly away is just one of the ways we like to highlight the importance of having fun at flight school!
The journey will commence from NAA's original base in Townsville, then track west for Longreach where our attendees will spend the afternoon at the QANTAS museum of course and completed with a team dinner. As there's so much to see, day two will start nice and early with an 8:30am departure for Undarra which is iconic for the archway explorer tour (lava tubes).
We won't give away too much more as we can tell that those at home, are already getting major FOMO (fear of missing out)! You can follow along or watch back on our travels through our social media platforms and our Marketing Manager, Georgie Arnold's YouTube channel.
